CAN Training: How to Influence State and Local Government (for students, faculty, and mentors)
- Presentations on the legislative process from state aides and local organizers
- Breakout session: student groups meet briefly with their mentor to begin planning presentation
Monday, April 14th: (DUE DATE) Digital student presentations
Slide shows will be posted on website and printed to put on tri-fold boards for the CAN event
Thursday, April 24th: Climate Action Night
- 4–5 PM: Student/ Mentor Set Up and Orientation
- 5–7 PM: Event
Where: Bertolini Student Center, SRJC campus
TBD: (OPTIONAL) Meetings with legislators and local electeds
Friday, April 26th or Friday, May 3rd in the afternoon (subject to change)
